Join us for a special screening of The Bulletin, Mississippi Today’s first original documentary, marking 20 years since Hurricane Katrina. The film explores the storm’s impact on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, highlights the critical role of a local National Weather Service bulletin in evacuation efforts, and examines how disaster forecasting has evolved since 2005.
Following the screening, stay for a panel discussion with the journalists and filmmakers behind the project. Presented in partnership with the Mississippi Film Society, this event offers a unique opportunity to reflect, learn, and engage with the story behind the storm.
